Getting there: From Pakse: From Pakse town to Tad Fane Resort, it is a short 38km drive
on good, year-round roads. Take the road from Pakse to Paksong as far
as Ban Lak 38 (the 38 kilometre, roadside marker). From Ban Lak 38, Tad
Fane Resort is easily accessible, well signposted and less than a
kilometre away.
A private vehicle will take approximately 45
minutes to make the journey. There are also local buses and song taos
available from the bus station in Pakse that head towards Paksong. These
often crowded buses provide an excellent, local experience and take
approximately 1 hour to make the journey to Ban Lak 38 as they stop
often.
From Thailand: Pakse can be reached from Ubon Rachathani
(approxmately 2 hours away) or Chong Mek (the Thai border town) . There
is an International Bus that connects Ubon Rachathani with Pakse,
via Chong Mek (Thai Border) and Vang Tao (Lao Border) which takes less
than 3 hours for the entire trip on good roads.
